The bilinear interpolator class holds indices and weights for bilinear interpolation. It has an interpolation operator that operates on a linear array of double precision values.
-
The original powerlaw integration functions were prone to overflows for large gammas as the function computed the pow(energy, -gamma), where -gamma can be a large positive number.
-
The XML module now handles predefined entities. Special characters, such as " will now be transformed into their predefined entities, e.g. ", when writing the XML file. Upon reading, predefined entities will be converted into special chacaters, so that the user always deals with a human readable string.

A constructor has been added to create a table with a specific number of rows and columns. This constructor can be used for table creation. Set methods string(), real() and integer() have been added to set the table cells to specific values. A save() method has been implemented that will save the CSV table into an ASCII file.

GCTAObservation does no longer contain any response specific code.

Conflicts: inst/cta/Makefile.am inst/cta/include/GCTALib.hpp inst/cta/pyext/cta.i Some of the newly introduced methods have been renamed to fit more the GammaLib standards. The GCTAEdispRMF class needs quite some rework, but I merge it in right now to have a working reference of the code. Some initial code modifications have been done, more to come soon.

The precision parameter allows setting the number of digits after the comma.

The methods in GRan should be as simple as possible, and for drawing normal random numbers no arguments are needed as the values can be scaled later. The arguments have thus been removed.
-
The gammalib::filepath combines a path name and a file name into a string. If the path name is empty, the file name is returned.
-
(I chose `centre` because there were more `centre` than `center` around.)
-
The coding and design conventions (CDC) document was also updated.
-
These are the final modifications for the GammaLib core code review.
-
Some arguments that were not already passed as const references are now declared as const references. Inline methods were added to GCvs.
-
The node array class now derives from the container base class. All typical container methods, such as at(), size(), isempty(), append(), insert(), remove(), reserve() and extend() are now implemented. Unit tests have been added to check the functionnality. The Python interface now implements the __len__ method on the GContainer class level. This allows to determine container sizes using the len() function. The __len__ method is now obsolete in the derived classes and thus has been removed.
-
The configure option --enable-warnings now sets the definition G_WARNINGS in the config.h file. The function gammalib::warning() has been added to GTools. The function dumps a warning to the console in a standard format if the warning option is enabled. The function is now used in GFitsHeaderCard to dump any warning about invalid header card value types to the screen.

As arccos() and modulo() are mathematical functions they are better placed in GMath.

GNumerics.hpp has been remaned to GMath.hpp.
