Added caching in GSkyDir for coordinates that were not used to initialize the object when those coordinates are requested. Fix indentation in GSkyDir.hpp (#2148) Fixed parameter indentation so that it is aligned again. Integrate code (#2148)
-
Fixed indexing bug where the bins checked in GSkyMap::overlaps(const GSkyRegionCircle&) did not extend far enough out leading to a very small area in which skymaps would incorrectly be considered non-overlapping.
-
Add more detail for how the 'GSkyMap::overlaps(const GSkyRegionCircle&)' algorithm works.
-
Add 'GSkyMap::overlaps(const GSkyRegionCircle&)' to test whether a circular sky region overlaps with a skymap region. 'GCTACubeBackground::fill(const GObservations&)' now tests whether the observations actually overlap with the sky region covered by the cube before adding them to save time looping over the events. Add 'GSkyRegions::overlaps(const GSkyRegions&)' which returns if two GSkyRegions containers contain any overlapping regions.

…hrough wcs_set (#1851). Formerly the wcs_set() method was called in the derived classes, which led problems with the GWcsGLS class that derives from GWcsSFL. Since GWcsSFL class wcs_set() with parameters that are intended for GWcsGLS, an exception has occured in the initial class. This problem is circumvented by placing the wcs_set call in the base class so that it will only be called once by any of the derived classes.

Added GWcsSIN class.

In the introduction of the GSkyMap::shape() method, a change was introduced that led to writing single maps as 3D images. The code was modified so that the original behaviour of writing 2D images was recovered.
-
This replaces two arguments: - naxis: the dimension of the image - naxes: a pointer to an array containing the number of pixels for each dimension
-
…id pointer being free'd (not clear why this is the case)
-
The shape() and ndim() methods allow the handling of images with more than three dimensions in GSkyMap. Now higher dimensional images are properly read and written by the class, and the shape() method allows setting of higher dimensional map parameters.
