The usepnt parameter now signals when the pointing should be used as ROI centre. This allows arbitrary values for ra/dec (before, ra=0 and dec=0 signalled that the pointing should be used). The tool now uses the new GTime interface. In particular, the input time is now given in CTA reference time in seconds.
-
If a model is to be built from scratch, the pointing direction of the observation needs to be specified.
-
The ctmodel tool generates a model map from a source model description. The definition of the model map may either be taken from a counts map, from an XMK observation definition file, or from the task parameters.
-
I don't recall why I have added this for ctools. The variable is never set, so it can't work anyways.
-
The GModels access operator now returns a pointer instead of a reference. The code has been adapted accordingly.
-
As the outfile can now also be an XML observation definition file, we add this information to the query.
-
For OpenMP to work properly on Mac OS X, the -lgomp library has to be linked. For this purpose, a new variable OPENMP_LIB_LDFLAGS has been created that is set by configure to -lgomp in the presence of OpenMP support. The ctobssim Makefile.am has been modified to take this parameter into account during linking.
-
Made code compliant to coding standards and added more text for comments. Updated also the version number to 00-06-00.

ctlike now computes the observed number of events and dumps the information just before the predicted number of events into the log file. The difference between the observed and predicted number of events is also given so that one knows immediately if the fit behaved as it should. This commit closes actions #87 and #88 and the feature #54.

Filenames are now always accessed using the filename() method so that environment variables get correctly expanded. The prefix is now accessed using the string() method instead of the generic value() method, so that string checkings can be performed.
-
In case that the observation container holds more than a single observation, ctobssim now outputs an observation definition XML file in addition to the event files. The filenames of the event files will be stored in the observation definition XML file so that subsequent ctools can handle all observational data together.
-
We use the value() method instead of the filename() method to retrieve the output filename as we do not want to check whether the file exists.

…FITS file will be written. Note that the empty FITS file will have no columns. This should probably be changed on the lower (GammaLib) level.

…and GCTAModelRadialAcceptance::mc method.
-
Instead of using the m_deadc member we use now the GObservation::deadc method to access the deadtime correction factor.
-
The deadtime is controlled using the deadc parameter. An additional MC process decides whether a photon event or a background event falls within a dead period of the system or not.

…to understand for the user. Instead of reading ahead the output parameter, I added a flag that signals when ahead reading is desired.

Binned and unbinned analysis mode is now automatically detected from the input file type. The method parameter has been removed, and a infile parameter has been introduced instead of the old evfile and cntfile parameters.
