The zenith and azimuth angles are now parameters for csroot2caldb and these parameters are written into the CALDB. The calibration boundaries that existed before in the CALDB have been removed as they are not really useful.
-
The ctobservation::first_unbinned_observation() and ctobservation::next_unbinned_observation() methods implement an unbinned CTA observation iterator. Using this iterator avoids code duplication and generates a uniform interface for tools to loop over CTA events lists.
-
All likelihood ctools now derive from the ctlikelihood base class. This avoids code duplication and provides all likelihood tools with a uniform interface.
-
The pars() methods allow to assign or to retrieve all application parameters in a dictionary. Makes ctools a bit more "Pythonic".
-
These functions are not really observation utilities, and they are not really needed either since they encapsulate only a few lines of code.
-
To avoid code duplication in cscripts the support modules "modutils' and "ioutils" have been added. The obsolete functions cntmap() and modmap() have been removed from the "obsutils" module.
